10 Things You Didn't Know About Jeremy Lyons
- Jeremy and his wife, Malea, tied the knot in 2000. He jokingly says he’ll never forget how long they’ve been married—as long as he knows what year it is!
- Jeremy and Malea have four amazing kids—three daughters and a son. Their oldest daughter followed in her mom’s footsteps and is now a Delta Air Lines Flight Attendant. Their second daughter attends BYU, studying sports science with plans to pursue a master’s in physical therapy, while their third daughter is currently serving a church mission. Their youngest son is a sports enthusiast who especially enjoys golf, football, and working out at the gym.
- In 2013, Jeremy appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, taking part in a fun karaoke segment called “Sounds Good?”
- New York City is one of Jeremy’s favorite places to visit. Over the years, he and his wife and kids have seen more than 35 Broadway shows together—creating some of their favorite family memories.
- Travel has always been a big part of the Lyons family. With Malea working in the airline industry—and now their oldest daughter flying for Delta as well—the family loves taking advantage of opportunities to travel, whether it’s a quick trip to New York or an adventure somewhere around the world.
- Jeremy once channeled his inner Danny Zuko in his high school’s production of Grease at CMHS in Las Vegas. Apparently, his love of an audience started early!
- Jeremy is a passionate home chef who rarely needs a recipe. He enjoys creating his own dishes from scratch and testing them out on friends and family—and, according to Jeremy, they usually turn out pretty well.
- The Lyons family still loves a good Disney trip. Although their oldest daughter has traded Disney World for the friendly skies, the family still enjoys getting their “Disney Fix” whenever they have the chance.
- Jeremy’s first job was at Wendy’s, where he was once suspended for being “too friendly and talkative” with customers in the drive-thru. Some things apparently never change!
- Jeremy loves working with teenagers at his church. He enjoys their energy, humor, and perspective—and jokes that sometimes he feels more at home hanging out with the teens than he does with the adults.
